Obituary

Christine Marie O'Neill

January 5, 1942 - April 27, 2023

Christine Marie O'Neill (nee Willey) aged 81 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on April 27, 2023 surrounded by family after a long, hard battle against cancer.

Christine was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a mentor to many, proud of being a career military wife and was very active in charities.

Christine was always comfortable in a crowd and people readily gravitated to her and her bubbly, enthusiastic personality. She loved spending time at home, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a good listener and was nonjudgmental.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Marsha, brother Mark and her daughter Susan Gabbard and grandson Kenneth Michael O'Neill, Jr. She is survived by her husband John O'Neill and children Joseph O'Neill, Kenneth O'Neill, Dennis O'Neill and Peggy O'Neill Hartley, 13 grandchildren and many great-grand children, her sisters Cynthia Moskow, Laurana Reed, Valerie Sweeney and brothers Maynard, Allan and Paul. She leaves a void that can never be filled.
