Obituary

Andrew "Andy" D'Elia passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024 with his loving wife by his side. Andrew was born in Orange, N.J. on October 22, 1929. He attended Seton Hall Prep and Seton Hall College. He served his time in the U.S. Army as a weapons instructor. His business career was with his father as Alfred D'Elia and Son, Furriers in Orange, N.J. He married the love of his life, Maxine on July 10, 1954 and traveled the world with her. He also raised two children, Cindy Mulcahy and Mark D'Elia. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Mroczek and son-in-law, Scott Mulcahy.

Survivors include his wife Maxine, daughter Cindy Mulcahy, son Mark D'Elia (Karen), five grandsons Dr. Rob (Natasha), Ryan, and Kevin (Becca) Mulcahy; Michael (Siobhan) and Daniel D'Elia; four great-grandsons Mason and Connor D'Elia; Brycen and Shaan Mulcahy; and his brother Dr. John D'Elia (Carmela) of Lincoln, Mass.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 10AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA & Hospice Foundation (vnatc.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
