Obituary

ANNETTE W. CROTWELL, 89 - Passed away peacefully Monday night April 8th and went to be with her LORD and SAVIOR. She was born on March 3rd 1935 in Knoxville Tennessee. Was a member of South Highlands Baptist Church. Graduated from Bessemer High. Annette was a long time Vice President at Officers Benefits Association in Birmingham. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loved to dance, swim, converse with others and that was the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her mother Frankie Wilson, her father Charles Wilson, her husband Joe Crotwell, her sister Peggy McSweeney, and her son-in-law Steve Johnson.

Annette is survived by her daughter Jodie Johnson, her son Chuck Crotwell (Robin). Annette is also survived by 6 Grandchildren Jolee Owens (Bubba), Brandon Johnson (Wendy), Brent Johnson, Noah Crotwell (Kate), Ryan Johnson, Caleb Crotwell (Lauren), 10 Great grandchildren Sydney St. John (Locke), Taylor Owens, Gracie Johnson, Peyton Owens, Conner Crotwell, Colin Crotwell, Owen Crotwell, Luke Crotwell, Savannah Crotwell and Charlie Crotwell and 1 Great-Great Grandchild Hayes St. John.  Visitation will be held Friday April 12, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, Alabama.
