Obituary

Anthony Marshall Tyler, age 62, of Smith River, CA, passed away very unexpectedly on February 12, 2026. Born on April 11, 1963 in Madison, Wisconsin, he was a devoted husband to his wife of 23 years and a loving father, brother, son, and friend. Tony was known for his unwavering support for his loved ones, and his passion for music and politics. His warmth and wisdom will stay with us forever.

Tony is survived by his heartbroken wife, Sabine Tyler, his beloved children, Maximilian and Luna; his brothers Chris Engelstad (with Chery, Isabel and Haley); Scott Tyler (with Sheila, Scott and Slade); his sisters Julia Smith (with Ian, Presley, Colin and Rylan), Emily Grant (with Matt, Ethan and Madison); his mother Linda Engelstad (with Barry); and all his dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father (Bruce Tyler) and stepmother (Karen), as well as our beloved cats Chaos, Okie, Pepe, Kasi, and Miko.
