Obituary

Mrs. Brbara Jean Kirby, age 82, of Gadsden, died Sunday March 3,2024.
Barbara was a Christian first and attended Falls Mountain Church. She loved traveling and would jump in the car at the drop of a hat.She loved her family dearly, but would let them know of any displeasure she had with them. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
 She is preceded in death by parents Woodrow and Lula Smith and brother Gerald.
 She is survived by husband of 62 years Jerry, children Jerolyn(Thomas) Page, Shannon Morgan Kirby, grandchildren Jenna Nesmith, Alex (Jason) Pointer, Brett (Brittany) Page, 7 great grandchildren sister Jane (Jerry) Wester,and brother Earl (Kay) Smith and a large extended family.
 Special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
