Obituary

Becky Su Goodman, devoted mother, sister, friend, and beloved grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, at the age of 75 in Muncie, Indiana. She was born on December 18, 1948, in Martinsville, Indiana, to beloved parents William and Natah (Heater) Byrum.
Becky was a radiant soul who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Becky's genuine compassion and unwavering support endeared her to many, making her a cherished friend and confidante.
Becky was a devoted member of Halteman Village Baptist Church for several years, where she found solace, community, and spiritual guidance. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort during times of joy and adversity.
In addition to her roles as a mother, Becky embraced the joys of being a grandmother with boundless love and joy. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them, watching them grow and creating lasting memories together.
Becky had a zest for life and a contagious sense of humor. A true jokester, she never failed to bring laughter and joy to those around her. Her quick wit and playful spirit brightened even the darkest of days, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In her leisure time, Becky delighted in indulging her passions for crime shows, traveling, and camping. Whether she was solving mysteries from the comfort of her living room, exploring new destinations near and far, or reconnecting with nature on camping trips, Becky approached each adventure with an adventurous spirit and an open heart.
Becky was also a devoted cat enthusiast, finding solace and companionship in the company of her feline friends. Their presence brought her comfort and joy, serving as constant reminders of the beauty and simplicity of life's pleasures.
Becky is survived by her children, Rodney (wife, Crystal) Greaser, Salt Lake City, UT, Natah Hughes, Muncie, IN, Cathy (husband, Jay) Clarke, of Royerton, IN, and Charles (wife, Lorrie) Clark, Selma, IN; grandchildren, Kalah Banks, Kiara & Kenzie Hughes, Jacob, Brandi, Isiah, and JT Lowe, Cameron Metsker, Lafe Chidester, Blake Clark, Brittany Dudelston, and Andrew Clark; siblings, William (wife, Kathy) “Bill” and Brent Byrum, and Beth (husband, Mark) Strombeck; brother-in-law, Joe Grubb; and several nieces and nephew. 
Becky is preceded in passing by her beloved parents; granddaughters, Kennedy Hughes and Brianna Lowe; sister, Bobbi Grubb; and niece Mary Grubb.
Becky’s visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Garden View Funeral Home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow the visiting hours and begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ron Ross officiating. Burial will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Becky leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who were touched by her grace.
