Obituary

Celebration of Life for Billie Imogene Sims Templeton age 95 who passed away February 12, 2024. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on February 14, 2024 beginning at 10 am until time of the service at 11 am.
Mrs. Templeton was a lifelong resident of Glencoe and a member of the Glencoe Presbyterian Church for 81 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother and great great grandmother, who loved her family dearly. She retired from Alabama Oil Company. Her greatest joy in life was her love for Jesus Christ and spending time with her children and grand children and being involved in their activities and her community.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Beryl J Templeton, brother Robert L Sims, son Paul Douglas Templeton and parents Herman L and Orene J Sims.
She is survived by her children BB Templeton, Ann (George) Haskew, Beth (Richard) Couch. Grandchildren: Chris Templeton, Nathan (Toni) Haskew, Stephen Fuller, Jennifer (Nathan) Turner. Great Grandchildren: Dakota Templeton, Cannon Haskew, Bayla Haskew, Barrett Turner and Abigail Turner.
Great Great Grandchild: Willow Grace Payne and special friends.
Pall Bearers will be: Chris Templeton, Nathan Haskew, Stephen Fuller, Nathan Turner, and Dakota Templeton
Honorary Paul Bearers: George Haskew, and Richard Couch
Special Thanks go out to Joyce Hudson. Gayle, Nathan, and Holly from Centerwell Home Health and Gentiva Hospice and caregiver Beth Andrade for your love care and kindness shown to our family during this time as well as the church families and businesses for all the prayers, meals and love shown at this time.
