Obituary
Billy Wayne McCoy, age 76, of Gadsden, was born on December 31st, 1947. He passed away on July 27, 2024. Visitation will be July 31st, 2024, from 12-2 p.m. with service following at 2 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home. Brother Bobby Bryant will officiate the service. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery.
Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is a graduate of Etowah County High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from C-Mac Industry. He was married to his best friend and the love of his life for 35 wonderful years Carol McCoy. He loved Nascar, Alabama football, and his country.

Survived by his wife of 35 years Carol; son Jimmy Wayne McCoy, Paige Pope, James (Karen) Alexander; grandchildren Jessica Clemons, Mike (Catie) McCoy. Mason (Emily) Clemons, Clay McCoy, Evan and Erin Alexander, Caymen (Tiffany) Pope, Cade (Samantha) Alexander, Reece Alexander; 10 great grandchildren and twins on the way; brother Bobby McCoy, Jerrie Lynn Hutchins, and numerous nieces and nephews; fur baby Mac. Pallbearers will be Caymen Pope, Mason Clemons, Clay McCoy, Mike McCoy, James Alexander and Jimmy McCoy. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Morgan, Cade Alexander and Wesley Pinson.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society
