BRENDA LYNN MILLER AUGUST 14, 1951 TO JUNE 3, 2023
Brenda passed into Heaven on June 3, 2023 at her home in the loving arms of her fiancée and best friend, David. Brenda had been ill the last two years with COPD. Brenda was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was the fifth daughter of seven girls to Judge Wayne L Miller and Ursula J. Miller. She attended St. Vincent’s Catholic grade school and Bishop Dwenger High School. Brenda retired from her much loved, waitress position, at Casa‘d Angelos in 2017, after working their several years. She also retired from UPS, in Fort Wayne after over 17 years of service. In retirement Brenda attended Catholic Mass very frequently, and influenced many friends drawing them closer to Our Lord and the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed traveling to Phoenix to visit her son, Marc and daughter in law, Susan. They were both much loved and special to Brenda. Brenda had a heart much bigger than herself and was kind and considerate to everyone she met, greeting all with her beautiful smile! Brenda was preceded in death by her Father Judge Wayne L. Miller, her Mother, Ursula Morton Miller, and two of her six sisters; Victoria Sessler, and Susan Miller. She is survived by son, Marc L., daughter-in-law, Susan, fiancée David Bacon, sisters; Mary Martha (Alan) Bennington, Patty Lou (David) Chase, Becky Jo Palmer, and Katie (Jim) Friedley, also brother in law, Larry Sessler. Also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews and several life-long friends. Covington Memorial Funeral Home, Fort Wayne is handling funeral arrangements. There will be no funeral at this time, A Celebration of Life will be held at a later Date. Preferred Memorials are the COPD Foundation, Turnstone, Fort Wayne, and Memorial Masses at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
