Obituary
Bruce Michael Davis (1956-2024), age 67, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 10, 2024.
Bruce was born in Orlando, Florida to Early “Bud” and Dorothy “Dot” Davis. He was taught as a small boy how to play the guitar by his father. He grew up to play in a band and even had an opportunity to jam with Lynyrd Skynryd. His favorite past time was playing the guitar. Hearing him play was a gift we will always cherish.
Bruce started playing racquetball at a young age and eventually would win many tournaments. He was even sponsored by different sports companies. He loved playing with his friends and was known to be quite the instigator on the court.
Bruce was a true entrepreneur starting his first business in his twenties and at the age of 29 was even featured in Jacksonville Magazine. Bruce owned and operated B & A Supply Company.
Bruce met the love of his life, Jennifer Davis, in 1996 and they were married in 2003. They were each other’s soulmates sharing the most incredible bond. Their love was an inspiration to all.
Bruce Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Early “Bud” and Dorothy “Dot” Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Davis, son Samuel “David” Christiansen, daughter Christina Menciano and son-in-law Michael Menciano, his brother Donnie Davis and wife Jeannie Davis, his grandchildren Gabriel Christiansen and Sawyer Menciano, and his nephew Brian Davis.
Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their final respects at Arlington Family Home on Wednesday, January 17th. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM followed by a service at 5:00 PM. Following the service, we would love for everyone to stop by Christie Menciano’s house at 6749 Fincannon Road for light food and a chance to share their wonderful memories of Bruce.
