Obituary
Connie Belle (Adams) Wilson of Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2024 at the age of 66. Born in Franklin, Indiana on October 6, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Howard Adams and Marcella Rose (Faircloth) Adams.
Connie worked as an administrative assistant for IU Health Methodist Hospital for 42 years. She had a servant’s heart, and consistently looked for ways to help others throughout her life. Some things Connie enjoyed were quilting, cooking, the Autumn season and would never turn down a chance to listen to Donny Osmond. Connie was a dedicated wife and mother, first and foremost. She treasured every moment she got to spend with her family. She especially loved her role as a MiMi. Connie’s life was a living example of her strong faith in Jesus.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Michael Joseph Wilson; her children, Andrew Wilson (Ashley) and Amy Wilson; her granddaughter, Gabriella; and her siblings, Nega Lee, Archie Adams, and Fayerene Walden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Omer Adams, Jessie Adams Jr., Raymond Adams, Ruby Emerson, Ernest Adams, and Jurl Adams.
A visitation for Connie will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with funeral services following at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
