Obituary

Cynthia Rose Conforti Schoedinger June 26, 1930-November 10, 2023

Cynthia went to be with the Lord on 11-10-23.  She is pre-deceased  by her husband, Lt. Col. Edward Henry Schoedinger Jr. Ret. and her parents, Dominic and Nancy Conforti.
She is survived by her three children, Pamela Lanway Hernandez (and husband JC), Mark Schoedinger (and wife Grace) and Scott Schoedinger (and wife Elaine), 3 grandchildren Brian Schoedinger, George Schoedinger (and wife Julia) and Margaret Schoedinger Reyes (and husband Andrew) and their son Vinnie. Her sister Janice Bracewell and brother Michael Conforti (and wife Ellen) also survive her.  She is also survived by many, many, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cynthia was born in Boston and lived there until November 1952 when she married her Prince Charming, Edward Schoedinger and moved to Hialeah, where she remained for 60 years in the same house in Hialeah.  Anyone who knew her, loved her.  She was a devout Catholic and said her rosary and prayed every night (mostly for her kids in their teenage years).  She was funny, compassionate, loving, a great cook and baker and a friend and mother to everyone she met.  We don’t know how we will live without our mom, but we were so blessed to have her until the age of 93 (What!!! I AM NOT!).  You are finally with our daddy in Heaven.  Love you!!!!

Memories & Tributes

I was so saddened to hear about your Mom's passing. So many wonderful memories of all of you while growing up. I truly loved both your Mom and Dad. I know both of them are happy in Heaven and like to think my parents are back in the plane with your Mom and your Dad at the controls heading out for a good time. I send my love to you and your families. We were all blessed to have had your parents in our lives. Rosalyn Nicholes
