Longtime Estacada resident, Donald Fernstedt, died on January 30, 2026 in Estacada.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Grace Crossing Bible Church.
Donald Ray Fernstedt was born July 23, 1947, in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Dwight and Merna Fernstedt. He was raised in Iowa. In 1965, his family moved to Gresham, where he met Debby Johnson, and they were married in 1972. They made their home in 1975 in Estacada where they had 2 children. They later divorced. Pepsi then married Cathy Roberts on June 14, 2003 in Carver. For most of his working career he worked for the mill in Estacada for 30 years until he retired.
Pepsi enjoyed fishing, work on his cars, CB radio, he had a dedicated room to his trains.
Survived by his wife, Cathy Fernstedt; daughters, Tami Kendig, Sara Shaw; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, David Fernstedt and Raymond Hansen.
