Tarr and Mildred M. Boht, her life blossomed with purpose and dedication. Married first to Carl V. Lee, Jr. on October 25, 1948, and later to Gerald Lehman on October 18, 1970, Donna's heart found its home in her cherished family. Her dedication and hard work, notably while working for the State of Michigan, afforded her the dream of owning her lakeside haven on Lake Missaukee. Donna was involved with the Red Hats of Lake City. A woman of many talents, Donna crafted themed quilts, wall hangings, Christmas tree skirts, and mantel coverings. These all became treasured heirlooms. Donna's infectious spirit and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Donna held dear the memories of her various homes and schools. Donna's journey was a symphony of love, hard work, and boundless creativity. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the memories she gifted to her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through her children: Julie (Tom) Briggs, Linda (David) Gaertner, Carl (Adriana) Lee, and Jeffery (Krista) Lee. Her family tree expanded to embrace her 12 grandchildren, and, her 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. The family would also like to give thanks to Ana Regus of Serene Home Care and her staff who cared for Donna with so much love in her last months, and Liz, the St. Croix Nurse who watched over her. Thank you will never be enough.
