Obituary
Dorothy May Bertolini, beloved by many, passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94. She was born in Crescent City, CA at Seaside Hospital to Lorimer and Kathleen Lehman.
Dorothy May is survived by 4 sons, Rick (Karen) Bertolini, Lorimer (April) Bertolini, Tim (Paula) Bertolini, and Brian Bertolini. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Jon Bertolini, Kris Bertolini, Karla Whitlock, Brandon Bertolini, Ross Bertolini, Justin Bertolini, and Christian Banta. She also has numerous great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy May graduated from Del Norte High School in 1948 and married her husband Primo Bertolini the following year. She worked as a school secretary at Crescent Elk Elementary School and then became the secretary at the Ft. Dick Bible Academy. She faithfully attended Ft. Dick Bible Church and then upon moving to Gasquet attended Gasquet Bible Church.
In addition to being a loving wife to her husband Primo of 72 years, Dorothy May served her family well. She kept busy raising her 4 boys and managing a busy household. She loved crafting, camping, gardening, and was a wonderful hostess for many family gatherings and events. She Was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, her quick laugh, and her sweet spirit.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gasquet Bible Church 1340 Gasquet Flat Road, Gasquet CA. There will be refreshments and fellowship to follow.
