Obituary
Edna Louise Clark, age 94, of Boalsburg, PA, died April 3, 2024. Born January 24, 1930, in South Bay, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Mason Sr. and late Julia (Cook) Kyser. On August 3,1977 she married her second husband, the late Walter Emerson Clark Jr.
Edna and her husband, Walt, moved to Lake Monticello, VA during1989 where they became active members of the Cunningham United Methodist Church in Palmyra, VA. She enjoyed traveling with Walt and visiting their children from previous marriages. Twenty years after Walt’s death November 17, 1998, Edna moved to Our Lady of Peace assisted living in Charlottesville, VA. During December 2022 she relocated to Wynwood House assisted living in Boalsburg, PA to be closer to immediate family.
Edna is survived by her sister, Betty Hojnacki; son Stephen Meister and his wife Margaret and their sons Daniel and Benjamin; son Randy Meister and his wife Karen and their children Kristin, Ellen and Eric; daughter Marcine McBride and her husband Bill; daughter-in-law Sandra (Sandy) Claycamp and Sandy’s children Aaron Meister and Shannacy Schimmel and Sandy’s husband Kyle and his family; stepson Michael Clark and his family; stepson Robert Clark and his family; stepson Thomas Clark and his family; stepdaughter Vicki Haley and her family; and stepdaughter Sharon Clark and her family. Edna is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Edna’s son, Douglas Adrian Meister, predeceased her on August 18, 2006.
Tentative plans are to conduct memorial service at Cunningham United Methodist Church in Palmyra, VA during the summer of 2024.
