Obituary

Edward “Eddie” Eric Dines, age 51, passed away on April 3rd, 2024 in Ridgeville, Indiana.  He was born on February 3rd, 1973 in Winchester, Indiana and was the son of Edward and Margie Dines.

Eddie was a lover of the outdoors and his hobbies include fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, hiking on nature trails, parties, and bonfires.  You’d often find him with a cold Coors Light in his hand.  He loved his family and spending time with them whenever he could.

Eddie is survived by his parents, Edward and Margie Dines; two sons Eric Dines and Nakota Dines; a daughter Emily Dines; a stepson Everett Bennett; a stepdaughter Korah Anderson-Sisco; sister Angie Orcutt (husband Bryan); niece MaKayla Orcutt; nephew Kaden Orcutt; grandson Jameson Tudor; his grandmother Patricia Acree; former wife and friend Karena Dines; as well as several aunts, uncles, and close cousins.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents James Acree, James Dines, and Winifred Dines; his wife, Lacy Dines; and his dog companion, Guano.

A celebration of life to honor Eddie will be held at the Conservation Club on a future date. Please check back for details.
