Obituary
Effelee (Effie) Robinson was born on January 12, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to William and Carrie McIntyre. She was the first of four children-Effelee, William, Dorothy, and Jonathan (LeRoy). When Effie graduated from high school she met her mate of life, Guilford (Guil) Robinson. They were married in 1957 when Guil was serving in the U. S. Army at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.
Effie and Guil enjoyed a happy and loving life together, having raised three children-Marie, Gary and Celeste. Effelee attended Cleveland State Universtiy for a short time but decided instead to dedicate her life to taking care of her family. Effelee and Guilford retired in 1991 and moved to their new home in Royal Palm Beach, FL where they enjoyed many years with their children, grandchildren, Brianne and Rebecca.
Effelee and Guilford have inseparably traveled life together as one. There can be no greater love, nor no greater devotion, nor no greater companionship than theirs; and they believe that it will endure even after.
Effelee’s journey in life ended on February 10, 2024.
Services to celebrate Effelee’s life will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in the chapel of Palm Beach National Chapel, 10055 Heritage Farms Road, Lake Worth, FL 33449. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the hour of service. Burial will be at 9:30 AM, Monday, February 19, 2024 at South Florida National Cemetery.
