Obituary
Elaine Marie Hilton, age 72, of Potterville, Michigan, passed away on January 25, 2024. Elaine was born on December 1, 1951. She loved God and served him well at Calvary Grace Assembly in Eaton Rapids. Elaine was full of life and adventure. She loved to crack jokes and make people laugh. She had many adventures with her daughter, Lisa, including her annual trip to Frankenmuth to celebrate her daughter Lisa´s birthday by staying a couple of nights. playing miniature golf and Elaine playing her favorite game Deal or No Deal. Elaine loved her kids - including those she didn´t give birth to and her friendś kids who never knew when it was time to go home. She loved them all, and she called them all her kids. In addition to the adventures and trips with Lisa, she enjoyed listening to her country music favorites with her daughter April, playing with her grandson, Gabe, and spending time with her granddaughter, Megan, whether it was swimming at the club house pool, or attending her many cheer competitions, Elaine was proud of all the accomplishments her grandchildren made.
Elaine is survived by her children: Lisa Knowles (Mark), Jeff Knowles, April Hilton, Ashley Hilton, and Michael (Erica) Hilton; grandchildren: Megan, Gabriel, Lilia, Isaac, Roberto, Cyrus, Nicholas, and Tati; brother, Keith Hale; several nieces and nephews; and bonus daughters, Tammie Hurst and Debbie Crego.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at Calvary Grace Church, located at 915 Water Street in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, with Pastor Rocky Wing, Jr. officiating. There will be a luncheon and time of fellowship at the church following the service.
