Obituary

Elizabeth Barbieri, 96, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on April 8, 2023.

Elizabeth was born on February 8, 1927, in Hoboken, New Jersey to Michael and Rose Tozzo. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Michael Barbieri, and her parents. She was a loving mother to Frank Barbieri (Victoria Belisle) and Michele Fair (Harry Fair, deceased). Elizabeth was a grandmother to Christyn Barbieri Dwyer (Jonathan Dwyer), Shawn (Maya) Fair, Alex Barbieri, Jacqueline Fair, Victor and Ronald Belisle; and great-grandmother to Amber, Henry and Nathan.

Elizabeth during high school attended dress designing school in New York City and became a seamstress in her early life. She married Michael on June 27, 1948, and was happily married for 68 years before Michael’s passing. She enjoyed being a homemaker and mother to her children. In 1989, Elizabeth and Michael moved to South Jersey where they worked and cared for their family and grandchildren. In 2014, Elizabeth and Michael moved to South Florida to be closer to their daughter and her family. She enjoyed crocheting, coloring, and spending time with all of her family.

Visiting hours will be held at Palm Beach National Chapel on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service to begin at 3:00 P.M.
