Obituary

Longtime Estacada resident, Elizabeth Rich, died on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at a Portland Hospital.  She was 66 years old.
A memorial service will be held 11:15 am, March 25, 2026 at Estacada Funeral Chapel followed by a reception at the American Legion(8329 SE 89th Ave Portland).
Elizabeth Ann Parker was born March 21, 1959 in Portland, Oregon to Edward and Patricia (Ibach) Parker.  She was raised in Estacada where they owned a raspberry farm.  After high school Elizabeth worked for the Safari Club and then Ben Franklin Crafts in Estacada.  For most of her working career, she was the manager of Craft Warehouse in Gresham.
In 1979, she met Melvin and they married in 1982.  They made their home in Estacada where they raised their 2 daughters and grandkids. 
Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and watching crime drama shows like Law and Order SVU and Chicago Fire, loved animals, but the greatest joy was being with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Melvin; daughters, Trish Cehrs, Jenni Rich; grandchildren, Lukas Allen, Jace Rich, Bella Cehrs; and sister Kellie Higley.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Pat Parker and brothers, Doug, Matt and Tom Parker.
