Obituary

Longtime Estacada resident, Elton Miller, died on August 17, 2026. He was 76 years old. 

A funeral service will be held 2pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Grace Crossing Bible Church followed by a graveside committal service at Mt. Zion Cemetery. 

Elton Nathan Miller was born July 2, 1950 in Estacada, Oregon to Abraham and Olive (Bucher) Miller. He was raised in Estacada. After high school, he served at a children's home in Ontario, Canada. In 1971 he married Viola Mullet in Ohio. They later moved back to Estacada in 1983 where he worked construction until 1985 when he started his career at Eagle Foundry where he worked until his retirement in 2015. Elton was very active in the Porter Mennonite Church in Estacada until his health declined. 

Survivors include his wife, Viola Miller, and 5 children, Sheryl Bontrager (Dave), Lavern Miller (Judith), Marla Rose Wolfer (Shad), Carlin Miller (Katherine), Kenley Miller (Emily), 32 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren-.
