Obituary

Erwin Gairing, age 89, of Bay Village, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
Born June 29, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Erwin Herman and Agnes (Yedlicka) Gairing.
Erwin was an Electrician with Kerotest Manufacturing. He retired after more than 40 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He was a lover of the outdoors. Erwin was a gentle and kind man; he made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred Gairing; daughter, Beverly (John) Manko; son, David Gairing; son, Daniel Gairing; daughter, Lisa (Jack) Donahue; grandchildren, Bradley, Sarah, Michael, Kurt, Kirsten, Kevin, Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Gage, Eden, Daisy; Sisters, Jeanette Snyder, and Marlene Scanlon.
