Obituary

Gary Robert Moore, 78, of Boring, Oregon, died peacefully at home on December 7th, 2025.

Gary was raised in Boring on his family’s dairy farm. He got his Associate's in Agriculture from Clatsop Community College. After college, Gary went back to the farm to help run the family business with his father, becoming the 3rd generation to carry on the farm. Where he later married his high school sweetheart, Connie Moore and they raised their kids on the farm.

He was a pilar of the community sitting on many boards. He was a lover of all things sports, especially the Beavers, farming, and the dairy industry, but especially the Holstein breed!

He had a determination to live and be an active member in his children’s lives and his grandchildren’s lives.

He was survived by his wife of 49 years, Connie, their daughter Melissa (Andy); 5 grandchildren and 10 honorary grandchildren that he absolutely adored; 2 great grandchildren, and his 3 sisters, Linda, Connie, and Vickie.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Arnold & Jean Moore, and his sons Tygh Moore, and Nick Moore.
