Obituary

Graveside services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Crestwood Cemetery for Gladys Elrod Westmoreland, age 96, of Rainbow City. Mrs. Westmoreland passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Westmoreland was a longtime resident of Rainbow City. She was a member of Alabama City Church ( Formerly known as Alabama City United Methodist Church). She was a graduate of Emma Sansom High School and remained active with the alumni activities. She enjoyed traveling and went many places with her friends of the Elliott Seniors Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Westmoreland.
Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by her son David Westmoreland and daughter in law Paulette Westmorland; granddaughter Lori Westmoreland; sisters in law Dorothy Elrod, Margie Elrod, and Nancy Westmoreland; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation, everyone will gather at the graveside for the service.
