Glenn Lee Erickson

July 18th, 1949 - December 1st, 2025

Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Lee Erickson, who left us on December 1, 2025, in a hospital in Portland at the age of 76.

Glenn was born on July 18, 1949, to Betty Jean and Arthur Erickson in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in the area and graduated from David Douglas High School. In the 1970s, his family moved to Estacada, where they built a home and where Glenn began to make his mark. Following high school, Glenn became involved in his family’s tire business, catering to log trucks, before venturing into excavation. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own excavation business, which he successfully managed until transitioning to the trucking sector within the logging industry.

Glenn’s life was defined by his dedication to his family and his strong work ethic; he was a devoted father and grandfather. His family was at the center of his life, and he took great pride in nurturing relationships with his loved ones. Glenn had a passion for hands-on activities, often seen tinkering with tools and repurposing items, showcasing his resourcefulness and creativity.

He is survived by his son, Brent, his daughter in law Carrie Erickson; grandchildren, Adelle, Conrad, and Waylon Erickson; siblings, Gale, and Nancy Erickson; as well as several nieces and nephews, including Chris Klaetsch, Keli Rain, Somer, Regina, Sam, and Rylee Rose Erickson.

Glenn will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his kindness, tireless spirit, and the love he shared with his family. His legacy lives on through the memories he created and the lives he touched.
