Gregory Leon "Greg" Smith
October 8, 1953 ~ March 24, 2024 (age 70)

Gregory Leon “Greg” Smith age 70, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Greg was born in Ringgold, GA, on October 8, 1953, the son of Joyce P. Thomas and the late Joel Smith. He owned and operated Smith Service Company for many years.  Greg was a member of Brainerd Lodge No. 736 F&AM and Past Master of Chattanooga Masonic Lodge #199. He enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator, hunting, and going to the mountains in Tellico Plains and in Sequatchie County.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Dianne Foshee Smith; step-daughter, Pam Lettner (Scott); step-son, John Robinson (Amanda); three grandchildren, Matt Lettner (Bailey), Julie Robinson, and Jacob Robinson (Kate); three great-grandchildren, Cooper Lettner, Tucker Lettner, and Noah Robinson; brother, Brad Fine (Sandy); two sisters, Amy Blafer (Craig) and Patti Greenlee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
