Obituary

Funeral Service will be at 2pm Friday, December 8, 2023, at Crestwood Chapel for Helen Renae Richardson, age 53 of Gadsden. Helen passed away on December 5, 2023. Rev. Ray Tucker will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services. 

Helen was a longtime resident of Etowah County. She is preceded in death by her mother Emma Edwards. 

She is survived by her daughters Brandi (Shaquille ) Mitchell and Katie (Kevin)  Ragan; sons Joey Richardson and Cody (Savannah)Myers; grandchildren Lexi Ragan, Miaya Myers, Peighton Myers, Finley Ragan, and Adrian Mitchell; sister Stacy Huff; nieces Madison Morgan Philpot, Daylon Philpot, and Shannon Wilson; her friends of Daugette Towers, Especially the Service Coordinator Brandi and Helen's  friend Don.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff of ACG Hospice and Sarah Manfree for caring for Helen. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1pm until the hour of service.
