Obituary
Hoyle Delbert Robbins, 89, passed on from this life to his eternal home Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born December 16, 1933 to H.D. Robbins and Martha Jane Harris Robbins. He was a retired business owner of P & R Electric Company and held several supervisory positions at Gibson Container and International Paper. He was a member of King City Church and was a devoted christian. He loved singing, playing guitar, fishing, and playing jokes. He was known to all as having a generous heart and never met a stranger. He loved his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his four sons, Dwayne Robbins (Deb) of Gulfport, Rick Robbins (Tanya) of Pontotoc, Jeff Robbins (Shari) of Tupelo and Shane Robbins (Tricia) of Tupelo; eight grandchildren, Kristi White (Jason), Katie Robbins, Tiffany Harris (Josh), Zach Robbins (Charlotte), Bre Welch (Micah), Bry Robbins (Ruthy), Morgan Renfrow (Carson), and Ethan Robbins; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James “Bud” Robbins (Debbie); sister, Alice Williams (Buddy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Robbins; his parents; brother, Rush Robbins; sisters, Mary Riley, Lola Mae Robbins, Virgina Buse, and Flora Lee Sanders.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 with his sons, Jeff Robbins and Shane Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Zach Robbins, Bry Robbins, Ethan Robbins, Josh Harris, Jason White, Keith Sanders, and Micah Welch.
