Ironer Turner Lipsey

Obituary

Ironer Turner Lipsey was born on March 19, 1946 in Jonestown, Mississippi to the union of Ergie and Annie Mae Turner.  She was the eldest daughter of 11 children of which three have preceded her in death:  Ergie Turner, Jr., Silas Turner, and Anthony Turner.

Ironer accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age.  She departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. in Sparrow Hospice.

Ironer was the proud mother of seven children, two of which have preceded her in death:  Rita Ann Turner and Robert Lipsey.

She leaves to mourn her passing:  her children, Johnny Turner and Marquis Lipsey of Lansing, Michigan, Joe and Anita Turner, Celinda Lipsey and Gary Lipsey, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan;  brothers and sisters, JoAnn Jackson of Blythville, Arkansas, Dasie Turner Franklin and Felecia Cruz of Port Richey, Florida, Bettie Turner, Rosie Turner, and Harvey Turner of Lansing, Michigan, and Dorothy and Johnnie Turner of Kalamazoo, Michigan; special grandchild, Kevin Hunt of Lansing, Michigan; 27 other grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, all who loved her dearly.
