Obituary

A memorial service will be announced at a later date, for Mr. Jeffery McLendon, age 67, of Gadsden, who died Wednesday February 28,2024.
Jeffery will be remembered as a man who enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, Georgia Bulldog Football and animals in general, and had several dogs and cats. He was a retired truck driver and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Wanda McLendon and sister Lisa. 
He is survived by his significant other of several years Janice Brown, children Stephannie Connell,Joanie (Bronson) Lawson Dorothy Whipple, Michelle Christian; grandchildren Rebecca, Ashley, Eugene, Samantha, Miranda,Leah, David, Brooklyn, Derik, Emma and Trinity; 9 great grandchildren; siblings ,Daphney, Jerry, Sue, sister in law Laurie Jones and a large extended family.
