Jerry Seals Gerald “Jerry” Seals, age 71, of Sale Creek passed away at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Jerry was born in Crossville, TN and grew up in Middle Valley, TN where he met his wife of 53 years, Beverly. Jerry worked in industrial mechanics most of his career. He was first and foremost a family man and took great joy in the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed working on vehicles, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He was a member of Lake Drive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his son, Shane Seals; brother, Michael and Ricky Seals; and parents, Gerald and Ruth Seals. Jerry is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Travis Seals and Nikki (Kyle) Pendergrass; sister, Mary Joe (David) Parker; and grandchildren, Ethan Seals, Emma Seals, Nathan Seals, Elizabeth Seals, Greyson Pendergrass, Felicity Pendergrass, Lucy-Kate Pendergrass; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday in Hamilton County Memorial Park with Bro. Lloyd Melton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On behalf of the family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice, Travis Seals, Mary and Lloyd Melton, Kyle and Nikki Pendergrass, and Paul Duncan for their unwavering love and exceptional care during this journey. Your dedication and compassion provided comfort and support during a challenging time, and we are deeply grateful for all that you have done. Additionally, we wish to express our sincere appreciation to Lake Drive Baptist Church and Scott and Janice Pendergrass for their invaluable time, prayers, and nourishment. Your kindness and generosity have touched our hearts and eased our burden in immeasurable ways. Thank you for being a source of strength and solace during this difficult period.
