Obituary

Jerry entered eternal rest on June 22,2024 in Palmer Alaska, where he lived with his daughter for the past 6 years, due to declining health.
 He was born in Gadsden Alabama on December 15,1939, and lived there for the first 22 year of his life. He joined the air Force at age 22 and served most of his 22 years of active duty in Security Service. After the Air Force, he worked for Southwest research Institute in San Antonio Texas for 17 years. After retirement he and his wife stayed in San Antonio where they lived for a total, of more than 40 years before relocating to Alaska. He is survived by his wife Mary White, 4 children David (Barbara) White, Brian (Kendra) White, Michael White, and Nancy Self: his brother Perry (Lynda) White:15 grandchildren: and 5 great grandchildren and numerous cousins’ nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved God. He was a Gideon and would like any remembrances to be given to the Gideon International in lieu of flowers.
