Obituary

John R. Bailey (80) of Lake Worth, Florida went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2023. He survived by his wife Patricia A Bailey as well as his son, Christopher D. Bailey. John is also survived by his stepchildren Samuel (Pat), Malcolm (Maria), and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Shipp, Patricia Reed (Wayne), Deborah Metz (Ron), Marsha Bicknell (Charlie), 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Chester Bailey, his mother, Helen Nantais, his sons, Allen and Brian Bailey, and his brother, Randy Bailey.

John was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania on May 19 , 1943 to Chester and Helen Bailey. He graduated from Taylor High School in Taylor, Michigan. He lived most of his adult life in the Northwest part of the United States. He was a boy scout leader. In his younger days he loved to fish and hunt. In his latter years he loved camping and going on cruises. He was in the Air Force and was proud of serving his country. Most of all he was a Christian and he faithfully served God.

His celebration of Life will be 12 Noon on January 9th at Acts 2 Worship Center,1300 Okeechobee Blvd, Loxahatchee, Florida. Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery.

Palm Beach National Chapel will be handling all the arrangements.
