Obituary

John M. Burns, 75, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on April 5, 2024 under the care of the VA hospice center in West Palm Beach with his wife and daughter by his side.

John "Jack" was born in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. A Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Navy, he went on to have a successful corporate career in Operations for stock brokerage firms on Wall Street and in South Florida.

He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Jaime, son-in-law Thomas, and grandsons Connor and Anthony.

He is preceded in death by his father Walter, sister Sheilah, and brother Michael.

Complete funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.

Donations

The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Dept. of Veterans Affairs, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410. Donations may be made to two funds as listed below: General purpose needs (local)-Account #8001 or VA Hospice-Account #8083.
