Obituary

John Sullivan II, of Gadsden, passed away on April 29th, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on May 2nd, 2024, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery following.

John Sullivan II was born April 30th, 1942. He spent his entire life in Gadsden, Alabama. He was an Emma Sansom High School graduate and a long-time supporter of their football program. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 40 years of service. He enjoyed his part time job at Ronnie Watkins Ford for 18 years. He also served in the Etowah County jail ministry for 32 years. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and serving others.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Sarah Sullivan

Survived by his brothers Michael (Betty) Sullivan, David (Judy) Sullivan; children John Ralph Sullivan III, Brandy Sumrall; grandchildren Zane Sullivan, Savannah (Lucas) Crawford, Sidney (Madi) Sumrall; great-grandchildren Weston and Raylon Sumrall

Pallbearers will be Jeff Sullivan, Josh Sullivan, Greg Jackson, Tony Armstrong, Donnie England, Ronnie Reed
