Obituary

Josephine Williams, age 89 , passed away on February 9th, 2024. She was born in Twila, KY, to Alvin and Nannie Goodin. Graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery on Monday, February 12th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband William Chester Williams, Jr. (Sonny); son James Kenneth Williams; sisters Goldie Leftwich, Minnie Yates, and Eliza Palmore; brother Dr. Thomas Goodin.
She is survived by her sons Charles Ray Williams (Kim) and Terry Lee Williams (Quisey); grandchildren Levi Williams (Heather Marcelynas), Cody Williams (Rocky Thomason), Blake Williams (Leah), Rex Williams (Haley), and Matt Williams; great-grandchildren Madison Farrow, Daisy Jeffers, Bronner and Anna Grace Williams, and Avi Williams
Jo was a proud, active member of The Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years having served as a past Matron. She was currently a member of the Lozahatchee #99 Piedmont Chapter OES.
