Obituary
Juan Carlos “JC” Sanchez, 55, of Miramar, Florida, died Sunday March 24 th 2024 with
his family by his side.
JC was born December 2 nd 1968, in Havana, Cuba. He graduated from Miami Springs
Senior High in 1986 and received his B.A. in Communication from St. Thomas
University in 1990. JC married Maylee on June 3 rd , 2005, and they lived together in
Miramar, Florida.
JC was an Executive Director for COO on Demand at HCN, building an illustrious
career in the hospital and health care industry from Chief Operating Officer at Absolute
Care, Chief Service Officer at Chen Med, President of International Health, Senior
Director of Operations at AXA Assistance, Vice President of Provider Operations at
Leon Medical Center, and Vice President of Administration at Pan American Hospital to
name a few. JC specialized in strong operational management, skilled budgeting,
member service experience, and strategic planning and business development. JC
made an enormous impact in the hospital and health care industry as a result of his
passion, hard work and dedication.
JC is survived by his wife Maylee Sanchez and his sons Benjamin Sanchez and Daniel
Montes de Oca, his mother Antonia Sanchez and his sister Maria Perez Soto.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26 th 2024 from 6-10 pm at Vista Funeral Home.
The burial will be held Wednesday, March 27 th 2024 at 2 pm at Vista Memorial
Cemetery.
