Judith Ann "Judy" Dunlap

Obituary

 Judith Ann "Judy" Dunlap (nee Bodine), 79, of O'Fallon, MO., passed peacefully on August 31, 2022. She was born onSeptember 13, 1942 in Sedalia, MO. to parents Joseph and Francis Bodine (nee Cramer), who have preceded her in death. Her son Shayne Dunlap and brother Joseph Bodine, Jr. also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Sherrie Stever of Warrenton, MO., Tim (Tricia) Dunlap of St. Peters, MO., and Matt (Kim) Dunlap, of St. Peters, MO, sister Bonnie (Martin) Smiley. Also surviving is her loving and devoted husband, Walter W. Dunlap, Jr., 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. 

Judy and Wally were married on August 4, 1962 in Collinsville, IL., and enjoyed 60 wonderful years together. She was a homemaker, taking care of her family, decorating her home, making crafts, and watching her favorite television shows. A lover of animals she would often care for multiple cats at a time, making sure they had loving care. She is described by her children as a straight-shooter and a lover of desserts, and would accompany her husband on trips for “Frosties and fries” even towards the end of her life.  Judy was affectionately nicknamed "Ma" by her grandchildren.

Mrs. Dunlap has been afforded cremation rites. The family will hold a private memorial service.
