Karl Trobetsky

Obituary

Karl J. Trobetsky, 73, of Allentown, passed away March 22, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late James and Fidella (Barnett) Trobetsky. Karl was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 40 years, Faye Ann, in 2014.

Karl worked many positions at Scott Chevrolet for nearly 50 years. He was an active member of St. James UCC, serving as president and treasurer. He loved his church family as a second family. He also honorably served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

Outside of work he loved spending time with his beloved family, especially during the many trips to their summer home at the Jersey Shore.

Survivors: Son: Eric D. and wife Kim Trobetsky; Grandson Zachary D. Trobetsky and his partner, Jessica; brother, James A. and his wife Louanne Trobetsky; nieces and nephews: Tyler Trobetsky, Alyssa and her husband, Simon Vovra, and Kevin, and his partner, Sherrie, and Kerry Boll, and his husband, Steve; grand-nephew, Logan Vovra; Cousin, Jim J. and his late wife, Carolyn, and Joanne Weisner and her husband, Roger; and a sister-in-law, Sandra and her husband, Ernest Boll.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in passing by a nephew, Scott.

Services: A viewing will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 9-11AM at Weber Funeral Homes 1619 Hamilton St Allentown PA 18102. A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 10:30AM until the service at 11AM all at St. James UCC 37 S 15th St, Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Karl’s name to the St. James UCC Memorial Fund 37 S 15th St, Allentown, PA 18102.
