Kathleen Arlette Parker
1967 - 2024

Kathleen Arlette Parker, 56, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 5, 1967, to James Howard and Carolyn Sue Mullins. Kathleen enjoyed crocheting and was an active member of Hixson Presbyterian Church, where she served as a preschool teacher and worked in the nursery on Sundays. She had a great sense of humor, loved her granddaughters, and cherished her little Chiweenie dog, Kitty. Kathleen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Kamela “Kam” Cecilia Mullins Howard. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, David “Marty” Parker; her sons, Tyler Bowman, Zack Parker, and Drew Parker; her daughter, Nikki, and her husband, Michael Alligood; grandchildren, Maddi, Abbi, and Izzi; and her favorite Pop and Nanny, David and Mary Jo Parker. She is also survived by her twin brother, James Douglas (Margaret) Mullins; sister, Loretta Sue (David) Partain; and brother, Bryan (Michelle) Mullins, along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1st in the funeral home chapel with interment following in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
