Obituary

Keith Oliver Austin, 86, of Gresham, OR died Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Avamere Assisted Living and Rehab in Sandy, OR.

He was born August 8, 1939, at Crump, MO to the late Clyde Estes and Maude Elizabeth (Brown) Austin.

Keith was a retired telephone office installation and maintenance worker employed by Automatic Electric Co. for seven years and GTE N W for 22 years. He also worked for MO DOT for 17 Months and did independent contractor work after retirement.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a 19-year member of the Oregon Air National Guard where he was a recipient of numerous awards which included airman of the year. He was an active member of Rose City Corvettes Car Club for many years.

Survivors include one daughter Karen (Jody) White of Estacada, OR: one son Matthew Austin of Beaverton, OR; two brothers Kenny (Martha) Austin of Jackson, Mo; Lanny Austin of Chaffee, MO and one sister Sandra (Greg) Dunning of Delta, MO. Grandchildren Jacob Austin, Shon Austin, Olivia Austin and Cody White. Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Samuel Austin; two sisters Brenda Dysinger and Beverly Austin.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
