Kenneth Joseph Workowski

November 14, 1931 - November 14, 2022

Kenneth Joseph Workowski, born in Chicago, IL on November 14, 1931 to Joseph and Elizabeth Workowski, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on his 91st birthday, November 14, 2022. Kenneth proudly served in the US Army Reserve. Following his military service, Kenneth worked for the Chicago Department of Welfare, where he met his beloved Mary Anne, his wife of 65 years. Kenneth went on to work for Underwriters Laboratories in Chicago, as an Engineer for 35 years. Shortly after his retirement, Kenneth and Mary Anne moved to Palm Coast, FL where he was a dedicated volunteer at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church and served in the Knights of Columbus, reaching the Fourth Degree and built many lifelong friendships.

Kenneth could often be found tending to his garden, cooking Sunday Breakfast for the family, or simply puttering around the yard. However, his true joy was his family. Kenneth and Mary Anne have 5 children: Debra, Michael, Wendy, Kevin and Kenny. Their spouses are Rick, Karen, Robert, Mary and Amy. They have seven grandchildren, Justin, Jimmy, Samantha, Edward, Mattie, Ryan and Abbey along with seven great grandchildren.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth, his brother Howard, and survived by his sister Gerry Kudla and his wife, Mary Anne.
