In Loving Memory of

Kimberly Lynn Allen

September 5th, 1976 - April 29th, 2023

Obituary

Kimberly Lynn Allen 46 of South Charleston
On Saturday April 29, 2023, at CAMC General Hospital,
she left her earthly body surrounded by her loving family.
Kimmie was born September 5, 1976, in Man, WV to
Denny Wayne Allen and the late Gail Lynn (Cline) Allen.
Kimmie is survived by her loving wife of 13 years Michelle.
Their children: Courtney England (John) of Marmet WV,
James Williams (Whitney) of Pineville WV, and
Ashley Allen-Hundley (Jacob) of South Charleston.
She was the best GaGa to Harmonee, Melodie and
Constance England, Myles Williams, and Daniel Hundley.
Her dad Denny Wayne Allen, brother Dennis Allen, sister
Shavonda Owens.
Nephew Hunter Owens, and nieces Mackenzie Owens
and Karleigh Allen all of Oceana, and a host of family and
friends.
Kimmie grew up in Oceana WV and was of the
Pentecostal faith.
At the age of 18 she was baptized with the Holy Ghost.
For many years, she graciously served as Armor Bearer
to the late Bishop Connie L. (Tyson) Scales.
Kimmie met Michelle in 2008, and they quickly became
inseparable and the best of friends. Their friendship
blossomed, and anyone who knew them, knew they
were meant for each other.
They married in 2010 and continued every day together,
inseparable.
Kimmie loved and helped raise Courtney, James and
Ashley as her own. She was so proud of the life she and
Michelle built together.  She was a hard worker, with
the heart of a servant.
She always put others before herself, no matter the cost.
She began working full time as a CNA right out of high
school, then became an LPN.
She worked 20 years as an LPN and while working
full time and continuing their education, Kimmie and Michelle
graduated together from Alderson Broaddus University
in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She was a true light in darkness, with an infectious
laugh and the most beautiful smile that made her blue
eyes sparkle.
She has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of those who
love her.
We must now lean on God, for He is the only one to give
us peace during this time of such sorrow.
Matthew 25:21 His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou
good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over
few things,
I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into
the joy of thy Lord.
