Obituary

Larry Leroy Noble, beloved husband of 75 years to Patricia Mae Noble, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana. He was a dedicated member of the East 16th Church of God for over 30 years.
Larry spent 44 years working diligently at Borg Warner, where he contributed to the success of the company. Known for his strong work ethic and integrity, Larry was respected by his colleagues and admired for his commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, Larry had a passion for sports, particularly the Pacers and the Bearcats. He loved attending their games and cheering them on with enthusiasm. In his leisure time, Larry enjoyed golfing and bowling, finding joy in the camaraderie of the sport.
Larry also had a great appreciation for good food and dining out, often sharing meals with family and friends. He and his beloved wife, Patricia, found joy in dancing together to classical music, their graceful movements a testament to their enduring love and companionship.
Above all, Larry cherished his family, finding immense joy in their company. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather whose love knew no bounds. His legacy of kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Noble (Jones); his children, Delmar Noble (wife, Mary), Gary Noble, Melanie Ransom (Husband, Dannie), Julie McCleary (Husband, Andy), Jeffrey Noble, and Kevin Noble (wife, Amy); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Mary G. Noble; and one grandson, Kevin Lee Noble Jr.
Calling hours for Larry will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home, with additional calling hours Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The service will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Harold Goodpastor officiating. The burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Larry Leroy Noble will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those he touched.
