Obituary
Linda Sue (Coates) Trent, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital on February 14th, 2024. She was born to parents’ Donald J. & Martha L. (Dishman) Coates on September 16th, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana.
Linda loved her dogs and her bingo games.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Jackie Young; son, Steve Corn; siblings, Kathy Anderson, Judy Coates-Walker, Jr. Coats, Teresa Dodd, Tina Green, and Donna Bontempt; 29 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her sons, Keith and William Corn; and brother, Michael Coates.
The calling hours will be held on February 23rd, 2024 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow with Bishop Kenneth Dodson officiating. Burial will take place after the funeral service at Gardens of Memory, 10703 N St. Rd. 3 Muncie, Indiana 47303.
