Obituary

Lori A. Worland, 53 of Bargersville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Lori was born on March 18, 1970 to Linda (Thomas) and Jim Miller of Beech Grove, IN. Lori is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Worland, three biological children Danny, Emily and Jacob West; two stepsons Anthony and Seth Worland; and one granddaughter Aubrey West. Lori also had one younger sister, Lisa Miller. 

In her early years, Lori was a star volleyball player. After graduating from Roncalli High School in 1988, she received a volleyball scholarship to IUPUI. Lori studied for a degree in criminal justice. Lori was always striving for success professionally! All of her knowledge and experiences led her to a career in global software. Lori was incredibly successful as a Senior Director of Product Enablement and Support with Workiva! She traveled and had the opportunity to work with colleagues all over the world! 

Lori was best known for her dimply, cheeked smile that could light up the room! Lori never met a stranger and her outgoing personality made her the life of the party! Lori was a die-hard lover of Notre Dame, Kenny Chesney, Gordon Ramsey, and frequent visits to the beach! 

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Lori’s life on Friday, June 30 from 2:00-8:00 pm. at Garfield Park Conservatory at 2345 Pagoda Drive, Indianapolis, IN, 46203. Lori’s ashes will be spread on the beach and ocean water of the Gulf of Mexico!
