Obituary

Lucy Mae West was born on April 17, 1941 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She married James Franklin West III on December 30, 1959. She is survived by her brother, Robert Williamson and sister, Fran Velasquez. She has two children, Jason and Mary, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lucy was a strong woman with a kind heart. Her warm personality and selfless approach to life made everyone in her life feel loved and appreciated. She enjoyed tending to her tomato garden, beating her grandchildren in Scrabble, and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Grandma Mae will be loved and missed by all.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024 2PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1125 Sixth Street, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 and a graveside service will be held Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, 7271 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke, Virginia.
