Obituary

Madonna Gail Cate, age 77, of Gadsden, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Fred Felton and Nellie Loraine Cate. She had retired from RCA company in Florida. Madonna enjoyed the outdoors and had a great love of horses. She considered herself a "Fast Food Connoisseur" with Taco Bell at the top of her list. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece Michelle Cate Earl. 

Madonna is survived by her sister Freddie Ann Cate Wellman (Vernon); brother Tin Cate (Amanda); Nephews Jeff Wellman (Jennifer), Tim Cate (Holli), and Chris Cate ( Stephanie ); niece Ashlyn Cate ( Chris Jones); and several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to tthe Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center, 4200 Brooke Ave. Gadsden, AL 35901 or to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
