Obituary

Marsha Thurston, 57, of Palmyra, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023.
Marsha was born November 1, 1965, to Randolf and Gladys Dawson. Marsha is survived by her sons Randy Dawson (Jennifer) and Ricky Thurston (Christina), her daughters: Tammy Gaulding, Cindy Gaulding, her loving fiancé Alan McCloud, her grandchildren: Payton Dawson, Emory Thurston, Lola Tharpe, Katie Gaulding, Mackenzie Vance, Rylen Osborne, Axl Chism, Kolby Abel, her sisters: Margaret Thurston, Sue Luck, Lorretta Strickland, Sissy Heartman, Vicki Wilson, Alta Smith, her brothers: Lewis Dawson, and Lee Weatherholtz.
She is preceded in death by both parents, her son Josh McCloud, her sisters: Donna Mosholder, Marie Clemons, her brothers: Randy Dawson, James Dawson, Clarence Thurston, and her grandson: Tyson Tharpe.
Marsha was full of life and will be greatly missed by all that surrounded her.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 6-8pm with A funeral service to follow on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 12:30pm. Both services will be located at Norman’s Funeral Chapel, 2982 River Road West, Goochland, Virginia with intermittent to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.
